Documents and resources on the website may not be downloaded, altered or adapted for any purpose except for non-commercial use including research or private study in the pursuit of work with children and young people under the age of 18. Photography

Some of the images in the website are posed by models and are not actual depictions of Church of England activity. Elsewhere, images have been submitted by dioceses and parishes for use. In such cases, images are accepted on the basis that we assume that relevant written permissions have been sought and granted by the people depicted and, where relevant (i.e. when the subject is under 18) by their parent/guardian as well.  In addition, we assume that the parish/diocese has received written permission from the photographer.

If you intend to submit photographs for use on this website, written permission should be sought from the photographer, as owner of the copyright, and from those depicted at the time the photograph/film is taken (where they are clearly recognisable) and a chance to opt out must be given.

If you intend to submit photographs/films which include identifiable children under the age of 18, you must first obtain the written consent of the young person, (if that young person is aged 12 years or above) and in all circumstances, the written consent of a person with parental responsibility for that young person, which must specify that their image can be used on the internet. We reserve the right not to use any submitted images where there is no evidence that the relevant permissions have been sought, but similarly take no responsibility for the use of images submitted to us where such permissions have not been sought. If you do submit photographs/films you do so on the condition that you will indemnify the Archbishops’ Council against all expenses, damages, claims and legal costs arising out of any failure by you to obtain any relevant permissions or clearances.  If you have concerns about any images used on the website, please contact Navin Motwani, E-Communications Officer (contact details at foot).

No photographs/films or other images in this website may be saved to your computer, copied, posted, broadcast or otherwise reproduced for any purpose without prior written permission from Navin Motwani, E-Communications Officer (contact details at foot).
